Every year we go on our family fall drive. We start the morning off at our first stop the Alpine candy store. The Peppermint Place. They decorate their store windows for each holiday. We get a sweet treat and then drive the Alpine Loop to see the fall leaves change color. This is where Joe purposed. He purposed using Christmas lights in the trees. We search for the Christmas tree light strands every year. We took a big rock one year right where Joe purposed and that's what is in our tiny flower garden in our front yard. This children each took a tiny rock from there this year. Something to remind them where it all began. Then we drove to the Red Barn. We take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and this year we were excited to see the two giant slides they built. They also built a sand box and a maze of apple crates. We went back to the barn for donuts and apple cider. We always get their famous apple cider slushes but the machine was broke. When we were done we went with Grandma and Grandpa Pearce to El Pollo Loco for dinner. This is the way we start  our fall traditions every year. The weather was amazing and the barn was a blast. We love fall!
