Bob's Onion. Yesterday Bob said he had a gift for me. He jumped up and ran over with the largest onion, I think, in the world. He said it was for every tear he would have when our family moves away. When he was a bus driver and had to trade routes the bus all signed a giant onion and told him it was for all the tears they would shed when he left their route. It touched him and he never forgot it. He looked hard to find it. To give portion to it's size I took a picture next to Luke's head and Jaden's foot. You can also see it takes Jaden holding like a pumpkin. It was the size of a small pumpkin. When we go we will never look at an onion the same. It was special seeing him hold his sweethearts hand and sharing his love for her. Also hearing brother Dolder talk about his love for his sweet angel wife Mary.
A couple days ago I came home from the store with medicine for my 4 sick boys. I found these two cuddled up reading a Stinky face book. We love the I love you stinky face book.We have Merry Christmas stinky face (that's what James was reading to Jaden) We have back to school stinky face and I miss you stinky face. I love you stinky face is the first book in the series. I'm going to start giving that one at baby showers. We want the Happy Halloween stinky face next.

Every year our girls get to volunteer to be servers at The Hope Kids Ball. This is an event where Children with severe illnesses come to a princess ball. The children arrived to the castle and were sat down to an amazing dinner. Then they could go get their hair and makeup done and head into the ballroom where prince charming would read them fairy tales. Then the princesses arrived and made an entrance down the grand staircase. Then the ball began, they could dance with their favorite princess, they could also take a carriage ride. This is all free to the entire family. They spend so much time in the hospital. It's a special night out. My girls are always touched by these sweet children. They make bonds with them. We look forward to this event all year. If you are interested in donating to hopekids I will be posting a link soon.
This is the makeup station.
This was the dining hall.
A sweet girl getting her hair done. This sweet princess smiled the entire time.
The carriage ride. simply magical!
Then it's time for the princess to enter the ball.
It's a bit of a blur but these amazing girls were playing beautiful music just behind Prince charming.
Joe's sister Tori plays Rapunzel. What a fun job right?
